Terms of Sale

These terms of sale ("Terms of Sale") apply to the sale of paid digital patterns offered on Needle.

Parties

The seller is the pattern creator, acting in their own name. ⟦TO COMPLETE: company name⟧ operates the Needle platform as a technical intermediary connecting creators and buyers; it is not a party to the sale contract concluded between the buyer and the creator, and receives a commission on sales. Payments are collected into the creator's account through Stripe. As an intermediary, it is not responsible for the content of the patterns or their conformity, and does not handle refunds, which are the creator's responsibility. Any dispute relating to a purchased pattern is settled between the buyer and the creator concerned.

Products

The products sold are patterns in the form of downloadable digital files. The essential characteristics of each pattern are presented on its page.

Prices

Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of taxes where applicable. ⟦TO COMPLETE: applicable VAT regime and terms.⟧ The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order.

Order

The sale is concluded after confirmation of the order and validation of the payment. Before validating, you confirm that you have read these Terms of Sale and accept that the order requires payment.

Payment

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Delivery

The pattern is made available in digital form (download or online access) after payment confirmation.

Access to purchased patterns

Access to a purchased pattern is granted to you permanently. The removal of a pattern from sale, as well as the creator ceasing activity on the platform (disconnecting or deleting their account), have no effect on the patterns you have already purchased: you retain access to them. A pattern removed from sale is simply no longer offered to new buyers.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, for digital content supplied on an intangible medium, you waive your right of withdrawal once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Otherwise, you have a period of fourteen (14) days to withdraw.

Access to the pattern is granted immediately after your payment is confirmed, so performance of the contract begins at that moment. The waiver you give when placing the order therefore relates to the purchase itself, regardless of whether you download a file — the pattern can be viewed and worked from online, with no download required.

Refunds

As the creator is the seller, refund requests are their responsibility. ⟦TO COMPLETE: refund policy and time frame.⟧

If a pattern is refunded, your access to it may be revoked. This revocation is carried out where possible; it may not be effective once the creator has left the platform.

Warranties

The legal provisions relating to conformity and hidden defects apply as provided by law.

After-sales service and complaints

Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails.
